Nijmegen is located at the river Waal in the middle of the Netherlands and close to the border with Germany. It is surrounded by several airports and the excellent public transport system will get you all the way to the entrance of De Vereeniging, the conference venue.
Nijmegen has direct frequent train connections with Arnhem, Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Roosendaal, Rotterdam and Utrecht, and easy connections with the (inter)national airports Amsterdam Schiphol, Eindhoven, Düsseldorf, Köln, Maastricht-Aachen and Brussels.
The Central Station of Nijmegen is located next to the city centre and several hotels are within walking distance or have direct bus connections from the station. The city has a well-served network of buses.
From the west of the Netherlands you can take the A12 (Amsterdam/The Hague-Utrecht).
From the north of the country the A50 leads through the area.
From the south/east you can reach the region via the A2-A73 (Hasselt/Maastricht – Roermond), E34-A50 (Antwerpen/Eindhoven) and the A57 (Köln/Düsseldorf/Krefeld).
There is ample (covered) parking close to the conference venue.
Nijmegen is surrounded by several (inter)national airports within an hour’s drive from the centre of Nijmegen.
